In the Red Bull X-Alps 2013 competition it was, for the first time, mandatory to wear a helmet with E.N. 966 certification.
Clement Latour, second classified, was wearing this slightly modified helmet of just 390 grams. (Exact weight depends on size).
The 3 mm thick polycarbonate shell has the advantage to be very light but still very strong.

Certification E.N. 966
All our helmets are designed especially for free flight and micro light pilots, in accordance with the European standards EN 966.
The SkyRunner has been tested by the italian laboratory CSI a company authorized by the Italian Ministry of Transport.
The new complete certification will be published as soon as we receive it from the certification authority.
Our helmets were designed and built specifically to be as light as possible. However they optimize safety for hang glider, paraglider and micro light pilots, as shown by the information above.

The weight of a fiber glass helmet has a tolerance of +/- 50 grams due to the glue applied and to the thickness of the fiber glass layers.
